Zubair Bethea, 20, and Omar Beard, 31, both of Chester, Pennsylvania, were arrested on Monday, Oct. 28 in Delaware County, according to the updated release.

Their arrests following those of Frank Johnson, 21, of Coatesville, and Zahir Scott, 18, of Wilmington, Delaware, all in connection with the shooting in the 700 block of East Market Street in West Goshen Township at 2:03 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, according to the DA's releases.

Bethea and Beard have been charged with Robbery, Conspiracy, Possession with Intent to Deliver, and other related charges, according to the DA. Their preliminary arraignments were held before Magisterial District Judge Martin Goch and Magisterial District Judge N. Paige who set bail at $500,000 each and they were remanded to the Chester County Prison.

Officers with the West Goshen Police Department were called to "subjects physically fighting and shooting at each other in the parking lot of a Wawa store and TD Bank," after numerous 911 calls, as stated in the release.

When officers arrived witnesses provided descriptions of the "subjects" and explained that two of the men had handguns, as Daily Voice previously reported.

Video surveillance later confirmed the physical fight in the parking lot seemingly over a black trash bag, "which was later determined to contain marijuana," the police said.

"Through further investigation, Bethea and Beard were identified as accomplices attempting to take the black trash bag of marijuana from Johnson," as stated in the updated release. "Detectives concluded that Bethea and Beard conspired with Scott to commit a robbery of multiple individual packages of marijuana from Johnson, with the intent to later sell it."

The gun involved was found in the grass behind a different gas station, according to the DA.

Assistant District Attorney Kimberly Kaelin is the assigned prosecutor.

The WGPD was assisted by the Chester County Detectives, the Westtown East Goshen Police Department, the West Chester Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Chester Police Department, and Delaware County CID. West Goshen Police Department continues to investigate.
